1. Do I need to be fit to start CrossFit?
Not at all. Most of our members started as beginners. We’ll meet you where you are and tailor the workout to your fitness level, injuries, and goals.
2. What is a “No Sweat Intro”?
It’s a free 1-on-1 conversation with a coach—no workout involved. We’ll chat about your goals, answer your questions, and help you figure out the best way to get started.
3. What if I’ve never lifted weights before?
Perfect. Our On-Ramp process includes six personal sessions to help you learn the movements, build confidence, and safely ease into group classes.
4. I’ve done CrossFit before. Do I still need the On-Ramp?
Maybe! It depends on how long you’ve been away and your comfort level with the movements. We’ll figure that out together during your intro session.
5. How big are your classes?
We cap our CrossFit classes at 15, but most have between 5–10 members. That means you get real coaching and space to move.
6. Where are you located?
We’re at 247 Portland Street in South Yarmouth, just off I-295 and on the road to Yarmouth High School. Easy to find, easy to access.
7. Is CrossFit safe for older adults?
Absolutely. Many of our members are in their 40s, 50s, 60s and beyond—including a couple in their 70s! Our focus is on longevity, not intensity for intensity’s sake.
8. What makes CrossFit Yarmouth different?
We’re not here to compete—we’re here to help you move well, feel strong, and live fully. With experienced coaches, a welcoming vibe, and a focus on longevity, this is fitness you can stick with.
9. Can I just show up to take a class?
Nope—and that’s a good thing. We want to get to know you first. Book a No Sweat Intro so we can help you start in the right place, safely and confidently.
10. Is there free parking?
Yes, we have free parking right outside the gym.
